Lenovo Business Partner Portal goes live
This month, Lenovo will launch a new web portal, exclusively for Lenovo Business Partners. This new Partner portal provides Lenovo Business Partners with industry leading support for products, pricing, training and many exclusive marketing tools including:
- NEW eMail Designer - for creating email campaigns that exploit Lenovo's current offers,
- NEW Marketing Content Warehouse - for all your marketing needs from images and copy blocks to web banners and logos
- NEW Deliverable Centre - for easy access to all sales and marketing materials
In order to benefit from the new portal you will be provided with a new userid and password, in a separate email. Your existing userids will continue to provide access to IBM's PartnerWorld web site, if applicable. Both sites will require separate access from Wednesday 2nd May.
You can simply activate your account by visiting the link that will be included with your new userid & password. You can also activate your account, change your password and manage your profile at www.lenovo.com/partner/europe.

Have you activated your new account yet?
Lenovo have changed their ID and Password system. You need to authenticate your new account in order to access Lenovo web content.
All Lenovo Business Partners were sent an email from Lenovo entitled 'New Lenovo Partner Portal is Live! Action Required!'. This email contained:
1) a link to the system to authenticate your account,
2) your personal unique identifier,
3) your last name.
You need all three of these components to activate your account.

Q1. What is changing?
A1. The BP Portal for Lenovo Partners is moving from the IBM PartnerWorld environment to become Lenovo specific. This will provide Lenovo BPs with a better and more targetted service. The contact number for Lenovo Partner Contact Services has also changed. For new numbers see www.lenovo.com/partner/contactservices
Q2. Why is this changing?
A2. Lenovo is a separate company from IBM, has its own Partner Programme and many new Lenovo only Partners. This continues Lenovo's commitment to providing best of breed support to Lenovo Partners.
Q3. What do I need to do?
A3. To activate your account you simply need to visit the URL that will be sent to you with a unique key and your last name. Alternatively visit www.lenovo.com/partner/europe and follow the instructions on there to activate your account.
Q4. What if I don't do this by the required date?
A4. You should change your temporary password as soon as possible. You will be prompted to do so when you first enter the new Lenovo Portal.
Q5. Will this new ID work on IBM PartnerWorld web site?
A5. No. The ID and Password to access the new Lenovo Portal is unique to the Lenovo Portal.
Q6. Will my existing userid continue to provide access to IBM's PartnerWorld web site.
A6. If you are in IBM's programme then yes.
Q7. Does this mean I need to keep a note of separate IDs and Passwords for IBM and Lenovo?
A7. Yes.
Q8. What else is new about the Lenovo Web Portal?
A8. The Lenovo Web Portal provides access for Lenovo Partners to best of breed Marketing Support and all the product details you need to sell Lenovo
products. The portal also provides access to all you need for support, pricing, training, education, web shops, downloads, and more.
